This Saturday, May 13th, is the 24th Annual River Clean Up Day. This is the 5th year DePaul Prep is involved. The DePaul Prep community is signed up to participate by cleaning up the part of the river that runs behind the school. The event will run from 9am-12pm. Pizza will be served for participants afterwards. Volunteers should meet in the DePaul Prep cafeteria, and can enter through the gym doors.

The Chicago River Clean Up Day is organized by Friends of the Chicago River. DePaul will be cleaning up the piece of the river behind the school and by the park next to the campus. Everything needed to help the cleaning process will be provided for volunteers.

River Clean Up Day is a great way to earn some last minute service hours or start on your hours for next year. If you wish to participate sign up by Wednesday, May 10th by going to
