Ryan Coogler’s “Black Panther” is a great movie that  captures new characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Coogler utilized the chance of making a blockbusting movie and does it well. Not only does he take the chance to make a predominantly black movie and to grant T’challa, the main character, also know as the Black Panther, his own solo film. Marvel did a fantastic job introducing the Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War

Coogler’s goal of directing Black Panther was to make a movie that gave background knowledge on T’challas home, family, friends, etc. He simply did a fantastic job by revealing his home, Wakanda, and family within the first 15 minutes of the movie. Taking into consideration that this was the first predominantly black marvel film, Coogler definitely saw this opportunity to attract new and a boarder audience, and did a great job doing so.

This might have been the greatest Marvel movie released. Black Panther surpasses The Avengers on its opening week sales. While it made $292 million, The Avengers made $22 million less than that. Through 12 other Marvel movies, Black Panther included, it was the only one to pass it.

The goal of this film was fulfilled in ways that made people shocked. It explained his past, his present day, his plans for the future, his family, his superhero life, snippets of his love life, and ultimately Marvel’s Black Panther was an amazing movie. Ryan Coogler and Marvel team did an outstanding job putting this film together.
